I’d never cheat to begin with. Not that I’m perfect or anything. I’m really messed up in a lot of ways but I know what it’s like to be cheated on so I could never do that to someone else.

I don’t think I have the guts to cheat on my spouse. I am not a good liar and I think it would give me an ulcer to lie to him.

I would hope that my relationship is based on honesty and trust. If my husband were to cheat on me, I would hope that he would tell me so that we could heal and move past it. I had a very dear friend whose husband cheated and left her when she was 4 1/2 months pregnant with their fifth child. It destroyed their family. If he would have opted to stay, she would have forgave him and would do everything possible to move forward and forgive him. I think there are alot of forgivable things in marriage and I certainly hope that this could be one of them. Maybe it is because of her situation and seeing first hand what dishonesty and disregard can do to a marriage, I think a little differently about this than most.

A “once-beautiful-marriage” can be beautiful again with a little tlc.
