As much as we can have some leather dyeing at many leather shop or repair all over the town, it will be good to know what should we know about dyeing leather. Who knows, we might need the knowledge one day. The first thing to do is to choose a leather dye appropriate to your piece of leather. Next, clean the surface of the leather and then dampen the leather with a spray bottle of water or a sponge. Apply the leather dye in long, even strokes across the surface of the leather. Make sure that the colour remains even. And finally, allow the leather to dry thoroughly, and then buff it with a clean, soft cloth to remove any excess dye and to give the leather a polished look.
