Your Kids are Mocked by Their Friends?

Everyone needs socialization, including your little ones. They make friends at school or somewhere else.

Good things happen when they take care of each other and enjoy the times they spend together.

However, there may be some bad occasions they probably have to go through. For example, they happen to see the reality that not everyone is a kind person. There are some bad ones, bad friends who mock at your children.

If this happens to your little ones, what should you do?

Here are three best things you can do for them:

  • Understand your children’s feeling

Listen to their whine so that you know exactly how they feel about that bad situation. You can tell them that next time they should make friends with those who have good attitudes and those who make them feel comfortable.

  • Tell your children to handle their emotion

When these bad friends of theirs keep mocking at your kids, tell them to handle their emotion. They can tell their teachers or other adults. Or, if they are doing something, try to focus on the activity. Tell your kids too that it’s best to avoid these badly behaved friends.

  • Don’t get yourself involved

Sometimes parents feel they know what’s best for their children. However, try not to argue with or even assault those who have mocked your kids. That would not be a wise decision. Just provide supports for your kids that they have a lot of other kids to make friends with.

By doing these, you are training your kids to handle their emotions and to learn on becoming a wise person.
