Breastfeeding for the First Time
I always love to write something about breastfeeding. For me, breastfeeding can really make me and my child stay very close to each other. Not only physically close but more and more than that. I’m sure many of you understand deeply how it feels when you breastfeed your baby.
When you hold your baby in your arms and he reaches out his hand, probably looks for your lips for him to touch, then both of you look at each other … eyes to eyes… heart to heart… What a beautiful moment!
I’m sure too that it is even more beautiful having that amazing moment when you have already waited for it for so long.
Some of you may have been waiting for it forever. I think Amy (Tales of the Lazy Ovaries) is one of them. Two or three years probably don’t seem too long. However, I’m pretty convinced that Amy doesn’t think so :).
Go see her blog and read her story with her baby girl, Aislinn Madison, who was just born on January 29, 2007! Congratulations to both of you, Amy & Howie…
And, of course you should not forget to read the post about her breastfeeding experience. ![]()

There is NOTHING like the first time you nurse that little baby, and still at 16 months old, I treasure every nursing moment with my son. It’s such an amazing thing…

awww I can hardly wait to breastfeed again. It was the most amazing experience the first time around, even more so in our case since our daughter was premature and needed her Mommy’s milk to grow and become strong … the first time she latched on I cried … the last time she latched on I cried … I so can hardly wait till April and the baby arrives!
Thank you for allowing me to reminisce!
