Thursday 13 #1
This is my first Thursday Thirteen…hope I do it rigth 
13 Things I enjoy doing as a mother:
- I enjoy reading bed-time stories to my kids simply because I love reading and I love doing it for them.
- I enjoy having bubble bath with my daughter Olivia.
- I enjoy preparing meals for them because I always try to make healthful meals and at the end, it makes me eat healthily, too.
- I enjoy preparing and having picnics with the whole family.
- I enjoy teaching them manners. I can never stand kids with bad manners.
- I enjoy giving them crayons and papers so that they can sit quietly and I can enjoy reading my magazines
- I enjoy watching Barney with Jerome (yes, he is crazy about Barney)
- I enjoy watching my babies grow. I hated it when my husband decided to paint the wall where I had Olivia’s height development.
- I enjoy telling them stories about their grandparents and great grandparents.
- I enjoy walking with my kids and husband on a lovely weekend.
- I enjoy brushing my Olivia’s hair, she has gorgeous hair…a lot more beautiful than mine.
- I enjoy making notes on their funny behavior in a book that I plan to give on their 17th birthday
- I enjoy sharing stories with other mothers…

I love your list! It reminds me of when my kids were little. I loved brushing my daughter’s hair (a lot more beautiful than mine!).
It’s good you are keeping notes - everyone told me to and I did a little - but I really thought I’d never forget the things they did. But I did forget a lot of things.

What a nice list. I missed out on having a daughter, but my 13 y/o boy lets me comb his hair every one in awhile. I loved doing most of those things with my children when they were young. Still working on the manners though, never ends.
