Books for Your Kids
The best gifts I’ve ever got are books. Since I was little, if asked what I would like for my birthday or Christmas, I always said, “Books!”
Because books are all I need. I let myself drown in the beautiful story of the book, or let myself think very hard trying to understand whenever I read some text books.
And, I enjoy reading so much that I’ve been trying to influence my children.
What about you? Have you bought a book for your beloved kids this week? These books might be good:
- Someday (Hardcover) by Alison McGhee (Author), Peter H. Reynolds (Illustrator). Someday is about a mother speaking to her young daughter of milestones to come in her life. Beautiful and touching.
- Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy by Jane O’Connor. This book is good for it has a strong, positive message for the kids.
- Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann. This book makes a great gift for little girls who love pink!
- Pirates Don’t Change Diapers by Melinda Long. This is a sequel to the first book “How I became a Pirate.” The story is filled with adventure, and the illustrations are colorful and exciting.
- A Good Day by Kevin Henkes. This book is good for its beautiful illustrations and simple limited words. And, it tells you a very good lesson: no matter how bad things turn out to be, they’ll get better at the end. It’s a book teaching kids about hopes.
