Your Baby’s Head Shape
For some reasons like being born from a small maternal pelvis, moulding, or the use of ventouse or forceps during delivery, your baby’s head might be a little bit asymmetrical.
Here are some sofest positions for babies to sleep to help correct the lop-sided head shape:
- Change sleeping direction.
- Alternate the directions regularly, i.e. every week.
- Hold your baby, it helps relieve pressure on the head.
- Place your baby on his or her tummy but make sure you’re there to accompany.
Have a nice try…

This was a problem for our twins. I can’t remember the technical term for it. They preferred one side and started to develop a flat spot on that side. It was caused because their necks didn’t turn as well as they were supposed to, thus they preferred the one side over the other. After some physical therapy they got over it. Luckily they flat spot corrected itself.
