Thursday 13 - My Olivia

    • Today is my Olivia’s birthday! :D
    • This summer is the busiest summer when it comes to birthdays. Olivia is invited to not least than 10 birthdays.
    • I remember 7 years ago. She was so small, handed to me, so sweet, I couldn’t stop crying.
    • Her APGAR score was of 10 and 10.
    • She weighed 7.8 pounds
    • Her first word was ‘what’, not mamama or dadada…she asked ‘what’ and pointing at things she saw.
    • She could speak well before 1.5 years old.
    • She could read at the age of 3.
    • She loves reading and books so much that her bedroom looks more like a library.
    • This year, she refuses to have a big birthday. She only wants to invite some closest friends but she asked for a ’special birthday present’ from me and her Dad: a violin.
    • She is quite stubborn but she listens to her Grandpa.
    • She is definite about being a teacher when she grows up.
    • She is my best friend, forever.

Olivia sounds so sweet. My daughter was a very late reader. I was so worried about her and I just knew I was doing something wrong, but when she was ready she took off and now she loves to read.

Happy Birthday, Olivia! She sounds like a very bright and beautiful little girl! I hope her birthday celebration is a blast, and that she enjoys her special gift. I’ve never heard of a seven year old asking for an instrument as a gift. What a blessed gift she is!

My sweetie was 29 years old in April. I remember feeling the same way about her as you feel about Olivia. It has only gotten better through the years. We are best friends. What a joy to have a daughter! Happy birthday, Olivia.
