Let’s Brush Your Teeth, Kids!

I know, it is not an easy job…especially if you’re kind of late in introducing this activity to your kids.

I introduced it to my son since he was a baby–even before he got teeth! I mean, just let him know that mouth health is important.

Yet, some other parents claim that they don’t have time, or they think that those teeth will be replaced anyway, etc. And, they introduce this important activity to their children only after they reach the age of 6 or seven.

Yayyy…that’s very late!

However, it is better than not at all.

What you need to do is explain to them the importance of brushing teeth.

Here are some things you’d better teach them about:

  • Brush at least twice a day. Tell them that if they brush properly, they can help break down plaque.
  • Brush all of their teeth, not just the front ones.
  • No need to hurry while brushing. Make it fun by getting a stopwatch. The longer they brush, the more you praise them.
  • Also teach them how to floss their teeth to make them healthier.

Just remember: always make it fun!
