Best Time to Buy a Father’s Day Gift!
I consider this weekend as the best time possible to buy a Father’s Day Gift for my father and my kids’ father.
Next Saturday it’ll be too tight. I’ll be too confused to get the best gift possible.
I managed to make my husband have some time with his buddy today. So, it’ll be just me and the kids. A secret mission!
What could be the best gift for my father and husband (given by his lovely kids, of course)?
From my experience, my father seemed to always be happy for whatever I gave him. Same thing with my husband. Sometimes, they even forgot about the gift and left it somewhere out there.
So, does it mean that they don’t deserve a gift at all?
They do…they really do…for all their effort along with mothers, to raise their kids.
Let me think about what I have given to my father and seemed to be useful for him:
- When he was crazy about chess (yes, chess! I was 16, I believe), I gave him a nice large chess boards for him to play with his friends
- Once, he was keen on gardening, I brought him several flower seeds that later on he planted
- Before he had fatigue problem, he liked to go fishing. Those years were theĀ easiest time to get him something. Simply anything that had to do with fishing!
- Last year, I got a bonus, I bought him ticket to a place he had been wishing to visit (in this case, I bought two, the other one for my mother who inevitably had to accompany him! :))
Based on above list, my conclusion is: buy anything related to your father’s interest!
And…buy it now!
But, wait…before you step out…have you expressed your honesty about a father?
