If your’re scheduled to have C-section, I think, it’s better that you take the class. And, don’t forget to ask your parterner, friend, mom, or anyone that you’d like to accompany you in the room while the OB perform it for you.

The class is designed to teach you and the other special attendants about indications for a Cesarean section. You’ll be getting all the details on the surgery itself. They include preparation, anesthesia, fetal monitoring and IV therapy, relaxation skills, breathing techniques, immediate post partum care, and newborn feeding.
This class will also give you opportunities to ask questions. Even detailed ones. The doctor will as well explain the whole process until you get comfortable with each step of the procedure and have no fear facing it.
It might also avoid your partner to pass out in the surgery room.
