A Pray for a Struggling Premature Baby

Nine months. Or between 38-42 weeks. That’s a normal pregnancy should be.

But when babies delivered before they are at least 37 weeks old, these newborns are considered premature.

What are the risk factors that may increase your chances of having a premature baby? Here are some of them:
1. You once had a premature baby
2. You’re pregnant with twins or higher number multiples
3. You’re having diabetes.

I’m sure, no woman wants to face this, including Alicia Youngji Delgado’s mom.

Alicia was born at 24 weeks gestation on April 8, 2006. She weighed 1 pound, 4 ounces, and was 12 inches long.

When I read this, I couldn’t help dropping the tears…

Yes, I do. I do pray for Alicia. Hope she’s getting better and better everyday.

So much love for the three of you.
