Baby shower???????
I’m helping plan my baby shower and I have a few things that I would like others opinions on & I would like a little advice from some mothers/mothers to be who have had baby showers or some of you who have given baby showers.
1. What would be an ideal number of people to invite to a baby shower? (the location where I’m having my baby shower is a nice size)
2. When should I have a baby shower? (I was thinking about having my shower on Oct.13th…I will be 37 wks at this time…is that pushing it a little too close to my due date? Should I have it a week or two earlier?)
3. What’s a good time for the shower to start? (I was thinking about 3pm…should I do it at little earlier or later than that?)

I had 70 people at my shower it dependswhat you want we both have large family’s and work people came too. I think you should have it 1 or 2 weeks earlier this is where you get all your stuff and you are going to want time to set it all up. most showers I have been to start at 1pm.
Hope I helped

I would say invite as many as you want! Just remember the more people there are the more it will cost. I would have your shower about a month and a half before your due, that way in case your early or it will let you know what you still need to buy before your baby comes! I usually throw friends showers about that time. Time depends on your budget! Earlier like around 12 would indicate lunch time, so you would feed everyone. 1-3pm would usually just be snacks. 4-5 would be dinner. so depends on what you want to provide. Congrats on your bundle of joy!!

1. Invite as many people as you have the space for! A lot (even those with good intentions) will end up not showing up. So don’t be afraid to go crazy with the invites.
2. 37 weeks is cutting it close. Too close. First off, you’re going to be huge and miserable. Second, that doesn’t leave you hardly ANY time to wash everything and get everything ready. Third, that doesn’t leave any time for you to buy what you still need! Or even take back the stuff that you got that you DON’T need.
The cleaning and preparing of the nursery, then figuring out what you still need, then writing out those Thank You letters, etc. It all takes energy that you just won’t have at 37 weeks. I would say around 30-34 weeks would be ideal. But hey! You know you best.
3. I would say a little earlier, just because 3pm is smack in the middle of the day. I would say around noonish or 1pm.
What’s most important is that you just do what you want to do. It’s all about you! That’s the point. So just whatever you’re most comfortable with is what needs to be done :o) Congrats!

The amount of people you invite is completely up to you I think 3pm is a good time but I do think you should have it about 2 weeks earlier then that because your gonna want to put things in order and stuff good luck

Ideal number of guests for a baby shower is no more than 20. Choose your very closest friends and relatives. More guests than that and the gift opening gets extremely tedious.
Ideal time for your baby shower is 32 - 34 weeks pregnant. This allows you time to make any returns or exchanges you may need to make, get everything washed and set up for baby, and also to make any final purchases you may need to before baby arrives.
2pm or 3pm is a great time for a baby shower. Most last about 2 hours, so your guests will be home in time for dinner with their families.
Congratulations on the baby!
