Healthy Eating????????????????????????????????
I’ve been a convenience-orientated eater all of my short adult life so far (23) since leaving my parents house when I was 18.
I almost never go to the grocery store, and when I do I buy frozen meals. Lately I just buy things at work, or go to the pizza/sub place or chinese places next door.
One, this isnt very healthy, two its way to expensive. I’ve been looking to revamp the way I eat and try to cook for myself a little.
I feel dumb saying this, but when I walk into a grocery store Im confused… I can’t even concieve making meals from all the different products!
Basically I’d like to know if anybody has any ideas.. or even better some resources for me to check out. Maybe even to hear what your own plan is for food. I work 8-10 hours out of the day so it would help for me to bring atleast some of it to work.
One idea I had was to buy a rice streamer and start making rice dishes… other than that I’m lost.
Any ideas? I know this is the broadest question ever.

Go get a membership to a wholesale club. You can usually buy a box of frozen bonless/ skinless chicken breast. Season it with alittle lemon juice and grill it. Steam some vegtables and there you have a meal.

something that you should do that is good AND healthy is start shopping at Trader Joes ’cause it’s a healthy store and affordable. You should try going to the salad aisles and buy the salads that are already ready and made for you that come as a lunch meal. You should also buy some fat free snacks like lots of fruit, fat free chips and crackers, and maybe some celery with peanut butter… P>S::::: STAY AWAY FROM VENDING MACHINES!! and if you do wanna go out to eat try goin to subway and get Fresh fit meals instead of going to fatty places like Burger king

i know i dont get enough veggies, so i take something called vegegreens. it’s a vegetable powder containing 60 different land and sea sourced vegetables, efa’s, (essential fatty acids) vitamins and minerals, its a great digestive enzyme, as well as a daily clense/detox! one 5oz scoop a day is all you need to get 6-8 servings of rich veggies! for one container (one month) is 34.99, its like a $1 a serving! you cant go to a grocery store and get 6-8 servings of veggies for a dollar!
still, i do advise eating extra veggies throughout the day.
