Where can I find cool baby boy clothes? Like Abercrombie Style?

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Does anyone know a baby clothing site that has cool baby clothes like the type of stuff worn in abercrombie and hollister. Im not into my son wearing all that ugly stuff with sports and cars all over it,I wanna be different. Im wanting to find some cute little ripped jeans for my baby. Its so hard to find cute boy clothes! Everytime i go in a store its filled with sections of baby girl clothes and only one small section for boys. Thats not fair. Someone needs to come up with a cool baby boy line. I need some sites other than ebay, gymboree, baby gap, the childrens place. Ive already looked on these.
my son will be here in july, i want him to look cool. im gonna have lots of cute onesies and sleepers but i want him to look like a little man too :)

Healthy Eating???????????????????????????????

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

I’ve been a convenience-orientated eater all of my short adult life so far (23) since leaving my parents house when I was 18.

I almost never go to the grocery store, and when I do I buy frozen meals. Lately I just buy things at work, or go to the pizza/sub place or chinese places next door.

One, this isnt very healthy, two its way to expensive. I’ve been looking to revamp the way I eat and try to cook for myself a little.

I feel dumb saying this, but when I walk into a grocery store Im confused… I can’t even concieve making meals from all the different products!

Basically I’d like to know if anybody has any ideas.. or even better some resources for me to check out. Maybe even to hear what your own plan is for food. I work 8-10 hours out of the day so it would help for me to bring atleast some of it to work.

One idea I had was to buy a rice streamer and start making rice dishes… other than that I’m lost.

Any ideas? I know this is the broadest question ever.

Baby Shower?????????????????????????????

Hey guys, my best-friend is having a baby shower and she asks me last minute if I can be in charge of games. PLease, please, please help me… everyone, give me your best baby shower or bridal shower games please… I don’t have much time. Thanks so much in advance!
Thanks for answering guys. I will run this buy her to she if she wants to do these things. I’m still open to more suggestions for anyone who hasn’t answered yet.

For those who felt they needed to comment without even being helpful, just so you know, the mother-to-be asked me to find games for her shower. She wants to see everyone have fun and she is happy her tummy is growing so big. She is also a professional and independent. I was also until I decided to put my career on the side and be a stay at home Mom, which is by far much harder!

Using fabric softener to soften newborn baby’s clothes??

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

I am 34 weeks + 6 days preggo with baby #2. I understand that any normal or strong detergent used on baby clothes can harm baby’s skin. So, i bought purex baby detergent 2 cans and since there wasnt any more stock, i bought 5 packs of pigeon baby detergent(i stock things as i live a bit away from the city and cant keep going every now and then to get things) I have a fabric softener called ‘Fairy’ fabric softener specially made for babies. Can i use the fabric softener on newborn baby’s clothes? Or should i wait until the baby grows? I want to be careful with the products i use in order to avoid causing irritation to the skin of my baby.

There is a print on the container saying… ‘Dermatologically tested and Hypoallergenic” and also ‘Huggably soft for sensitive skin”

Kindly put in ur opinions regarding this. Thanks :-)
