Relocation on Budget

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

When we are moving out of town or even out of state, there are huge enough expenses already that we need to spend, from relocation, residence matter, new workplaces, new schools, and other things. So, if we can do them all on tight budget, then we can save as much money as we can. Believe it, that there will be more expenses that we need to consider once we are in the new place.

First of all, find moving companies that are suitable for our limited budget. To save money, we might find some other alternatives rather than some full service moving companies or one-way truck rental. Secondly, find a house or apartment that is not too expensive in middle-class but safe neighborhood. Also, try to find one that is not too far from the workplace and schools; that will save a lot on transportation. The key is try to save as much as we can so that we can enjoy our life in the new place.

My Dream Backyard

furniture outdoor.jpgI wonder why some people think that being a mother is an easy job. We need to take care of the kids, our homes, the whole family matter, while we also have to work and earn some income. Not to mention that some of the days are very frustrating and emotional, since the kids just don’t want to listen to us or they just fight with each other, or some other problems.

After those frustrating and tiring days, it will be great if we can just lay backs in our dream backyards with relaxing outdoor furniture, drink something nice and cold, and enjoy the evening. To save ourselves from insanity, I think we really need to have that pretty backyards with one of those nice sets of relaxing outdoor furniture.

Are We Going to Lose Our Home?

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

house.jpgImagine! Years and years we have repaid our mortgage while making a good home for our family. And now, because of some problems with our financial situation that make us quite a time behind on our mortgage, we are in a situation of possibly losing our home. Then what about the home we and our children make? We are talking about a home here, and not just a mere house, right?

What we need is a foreclosure help. There are actually companies that can help us negotiating our way out of the foreclosure. They can provide us with some options for saving our home. Hopefully, they really are able to help us so that we are not really losing our home.

Great Vacuums Mean Great Weekend Helpers

miele vacuums.jpgI have no idea why I just know about this Miele vacuums. I had problems with my old one. And that really ruined my weekend’s cleaning routines. Then, one of my friends told me about vacuum cleaners.

It is said that Miele vacuum cleaners have some hepa filters in a sealed body so no allergens escape, large fiber bags, finger tip controls for suction control, exceptionally easy swivel action and noise reduction. Sounds great, considering that both my girls are very sensitive with some allergens! I really should try this vacuum brand for my next weekend helper.

Fabulous Coffee Table

coffee table2.jpgThis coffee table is really fabulous, isn’t it? It has contemporary style, the green color looks great, and the form … well, is perfect. Besides being used as a centerpiece for a living room, this type of coffee tables can be also used for hiding some of the kids’ mess.

What do I mean by that? My girls love drawing and creating something, and they always create mess anywhere. If we get company coming to our house, we can just put most of those mess under this coffee table without looking to obvious. Looking good and very practical. That is why I call it fabulous coffee table.

Bathroom Renovation

plumbing.jpg

My brother just got finished renovating his bathroom, and it did look fabulous. He changed some of the bathroom plumbing fixtures (from shower faucets to sink faucets), some of the out of date ceramic stuff, and several accessories. And now his bathroom had this modern contemporary style which looked simple but elegant.

When I looked at my bathroom after getting back from his resident, well, my bathroom looked so shabby compared to his. I might want to also renovate some of the bathroom fixtures that already looked so out of date. Contemporary bathroom sounds like a great idea. The hunting for bathroom stuff begins.
